Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

Since after the update to Jaunty 9.04, all traces of bookmark support
disappeared from my copy of Firefox: the bookmark bar is empty except
for the Home menu, the Bookmarks menu is empty except for "Bookmark this
page" (which does nothing), "Subscribe all pages" (which is disabled
even on pages with RSS), "Organise bookmarks" (which shows an empty
interface with all bookmark commands disabled). Attempting to restore
bookmarks from automatically made backups gives "Unable to process the
backup file." The awesomebar shows no suggestion, the addressbar does
not change to the URL as I navigate websites, the
back/forward/reload/stop button are disabled.

I am using version 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu2 with AdBlock Plus 1.0.1,
DownThemAll 1.1.2, Google Gears 0.5.4.2, Greasemonkey 0.8.20090123.1,
Novell Moonlight 1.0, Tree Style Tab 0.7.2009032502, Ubiquity 0.2pre24,
Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.7rc1, xmpp4moz 0.7.2.200921019, DivX Web
Player 1.4.0.233, Java Plugin 1.6.0_13-b03, QuickTime 7.2.0, Flash 10.0
r22, Silverlight 1.0.30401.0, Totem 2.26.1.
