Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am running Ubuntu Jaunty with all available updates.

When attempting to use Flash content through Firefox, the browser does
not detect that I have the Flash plugin installed. When the plugin is
downloaded from the Adobe web site, Package Manager informs me that I
already have the most current version of the Flash plugin already
installed and does not reinstall the plugin. After this message, Firefox
still does not detect the plugin.
