The last release of lightning and sunbird is 9.0. (the last release of lightning as extension)
It's possible built it with libstdc6++ (http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/calendar/2008/09/problems_with_updating_lightni.html#comment-2586750) and locales for intrepid?
And a backport for hardy?
