If that's true with the BFCU website, it's also true with many sites.

By the way, the behavior is the same with the Windows version - I
just tried setting the minimum point size to 11 and larger sizes,
and see the same problem.

MS IE considers this kind of setting to be an accessibility issue -
and indeed it is here.

In my case, "Zoom text only" is unchecked. I don't see why
setting the minimum text size should affect the proportions of
text as well as graphics AND text positioning should be
differently from zooming. This is definitely an accessibility
issue.
