For clarification, I saw this behavior after installation from the live
CD (though I've confirmed that I can also reproduce it within the livecd
environment after doing apt-get update && apt-get install ubufox).

 I can reproduce it freely by exiting firefox, doing rm -rf ~/.mozilla/,
and restarting firefox.
