I have th-e same problem that klnusbaum reports, on Hardy AMD64. I tried
to install the backports version of flashplugin-nonfree
(10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525ubuntu1~hardy1+really9.0.124.0ubuntu2), but I get
the "no appropriate viewer" after the installation.
