I see many comments stating that agreeing to a EULA is no big deal
because Windows has tons of those.

Personally, I use Ubuntu for many reasons, including the fact that it's
_free_ (speech)  and it's _not_ Windows. A Windows user may be
accustomed and even comfortable with EULAs, but I fail to see why this
facet of Windows should also be 'ok' in the world of Linux & Ubuntu.

I for one want Linux to remain an OS that stands out from it's own
merits -- not because it copied Windows.
