[Bug 270152] [NEW] firefox-3 causes high wakeups

On Hardy 8.04.1 running Firefox-3 with only one tab open showing a blank
page, firefox generates 20+ wakeups per second - according to powertop.
Quite high for doing nothing.... Is this somehow related to LP#202106?
