This is considered a feature, not a bug, by the Mozilla team.  It is to
keep one session from overwriting (or corrupting by attempting to
overwrite) the settings of the other.  Firefox has a profile manager so
that one user can have more than one session running, however.  If you
feel it is still a bug, please do as John asked and report it to
Mozilla.
