version 2.0.0.16 (20080724) and still the same.
I have to clarify my report. More of a usability annoyance I would say.
in a 2.0.0.9 I had an add-on GMailUI so that when I typed / I ended up
directly in the search box in the top right corner.
Ok select an email in the email list (not in the preview)
So type / or [ctrl]-k to end up in the search box. Type something. hit enter. (notice the text keeps being selected which is strange too.) Now after you have a result or not do the above again...
1) As the text is still being selected you expect the focus is still there so you start typing.... does not work
2) [ctrl]-k gets the real focus back and start typing... the text is added after your last search.
Result: You ALWAYS have to first click the [X] or hit [Delete] which is
annoying.
