Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lightning-extension

Ubuntu version 8.04.1, Desktop, 64 bit, English
Thunderbird version 2.0.0.17+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 (20080925)
Lightning 0.9

I am using the standard Thunderbird theme. However, I have set the
background color to black and the foreground color to white using the
following lines in my userChrome.css file:

treechildren {
	color: #ffffff !important;
	background-color: #000000 !important;
}

Then, using Lightning, if I check the check-box next to a task to
indicate that the task is completed, then the text of the task
disappears when I mark another task. The text remains while the task is
highlighted. The check-box remains. Un-checking this makes the text of
the task visible again. I would expect the text of the task to remain
visible, but become crossed out with a line.

It seems to me that the font color for completed tasks is hard-coded to
black, and is unaffected by the content of the userChrome.css file.
Therefore the text of the completed task disappears with my choice of a
black background.
