[Bug 288622] [NEW] obsolete information on the default home page

Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu 8.10 beta + all available updates (which, as of today, makes
it the RC1 I believe), the default home page for Firefox contains no
information on 8.10; instead, it still contains information about 8.04
LTS
