[Bug 173335] Re: cyrillic font incorrect displayed sometimes in Subject

I'm going to need some help on this. Is the problem that the wrong
characters are used in the translations or that the font in use is
rendering those characters wrongly?

Does this happen in all your applications or just Mozilla-Thunderbird?
Could you test with the latest release, Hardy 8.04?
