I use the newest version of kubuntu. The firefox I'm using should be up
to date too (I'm sorry, I don't know the current version-numbers)

Since he last update of firefox (a few weeks ago, at the end of
september) firefox crashes directly after starting. When I try to open
it from the terminal I get the following information:

The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 5427 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0)

I would not like to reinstall firefox unless there is a (simple) way of
saving my bookmarks and passwords without opening firefox (beacause this
ain't possible). I would be happy if you could help me.
