I installed the partial upgrade for ubuntu 8.10 
beta today on October
11th 2008, flash sound and youtube are now working 
correctly,

thankyou for fixing this bug and for continuing to 
improve this

Bug description:
Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

installed ubuntu intrepid 8.10 beta yesterday, and 
flashplugin-nonfree when prompted by firefox, it 
seemed to freeze during install so i restarted it 
and installed the plugin successfully a second 
time.

but youtube videos don't have sound,

I expected them to have sound

I've got a dell latitude d600

it didn't like 8.04 so I'm not sure if it's an 
unresolved pulse audio/ALSA issue

Loving the improvements and stability of 8.10, 
this is the only hiccup so far.

I'm available by email for more info, followup.
