[Bug 279198] [NEW] Downloads dialog does not populate

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

The downloads dialog box is completely blank after a download.  No
history!  This may be just failure to check the "Remember what I've
downloaded" box, but if so, why is the window BLANK instead of
INFORMATIVE?

This occurs in firefox 3.0.3 Ubuntu (your software does not allow this
option) although clearly it exists!
