A workaround in another bug-report suggested typing

about:config

in the location bar, promise to take care now!  Scroll down to

browser.urlbar.maxRichResults;

and change the default 12 to 0.  It's not exactly an elegant answer and
may not be what you are looking for.  Changing the value to 12 again
brings back all those urls so don't worry if it didn't do what you
wanted.
