Just to let you all know, that very same plugin works flawlessly under
Opera 9.6x 64-bit browser as well.
The only thing what has to be done is linking statically to that
Adobe Flash plugin. For me with Kubuntu 8.10 it worked out in the
following manner:
cd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
ln -s /usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/libflashplayer.so libflashplayer.so
It works like charm. You should make sure though that nspluginwrapper
is removed.
With both browsers you can confirm that you are using Adobe's Flash
plugin by typing in the new tab/window:
about:plugins
