[Bug 299440] [NEW] firefox crashes on opening www.meebo.com

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

    When i tried to open the site www.meebo.com firefox crashed and closes automatically. Didn't show me any error message. This has happened a lot of times. Searched the internet for similar issues i found one more person having the same problem.
   He gave a solution which asked me to clear history and cached pages (ctrl+shift+del). That worked!! 
   But why is there a crash otherwise?
