[Bug 276640] Re: The firefox window takes up all of the screen, impossible to reduce size and cannot access the close, reduce and clear screen options. The page also flickers when the mouse passes over certain areas of the screen. Firefox home page appears as a tiny page in the middle of the screen.

For me it happens all the time I open a new window: Firefox takes the
whole screen (window title bar and gnome main bar disappear & and
Firefox menu shows really on top of the screen; gnome task bar
disappears & Firefox status bar shows in bottom of the screen).

I have "Extra" Visual Effects in "Appearance" configuration.
Using Ubuntu 8.10 in a MacBookPro and in a HP laptop, both Fresh Installs.

Doesn't happen in a desktop pc with dual screen, where visual effects
are disabled. And in any case, only happens to Firefox window.

Pressing F11 twice is a solution, but it's really annoying...

If someone needs more information, please tell me.
