Confirming this bug.

Intrepid Ibex x64.
Firefox 3.0.3
Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.6 

All of a sudden all my chrome preferences all disappeared and then new
ones would not be remembered on reboot. Only after disabling this
extension was this problem resolved.  For me, re-enabling the extension
brings the problem back.
