Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

This bug/problem only appears to affect Intrepid machines using Flash
10.0.12.36, or Hardy machines upgraded to the same version of flash.

Trying to use the application Yoville on the Facebook website, the
webpage will load, but clicking the "Start" button doesn't have any
effect.

When I try to start Yoville, I see the message "Loading configuration
file", followed by "Loading Interface" before the initial screen is
displayed. This has a "Start" button in the centre of the screen with a
box underneath which on Hardy (with Flash 9) and Windows machines (with
Flash 10) has information about the default server to connect to, but on
Intrepid with Flash 10, the box is blank.

Clicking the "Start" button on a Hardy machine or a Windows machine will
start the application and it will connect to the server specified in the
box under that button, but on Intrepid with Flash 10, nothing happens,
the application doesn't start. The firefox window can be closed or
navigated to other websites.

I've tried a Windows XP machine with Flash 9 and then also upgraded to
Flash 10 Beta downloaded from the Adobe website version 10.0.12.36, in
that case the application works without problem.

I've also used a Hardy machine with Flash 9 which worked without
problem, when I upgraded that Hardy machine to Flash 10, this then
developed the same problem as an Intrepid machine.

I've found the same problem on a number of Intrepid machines, both fresh
installs and upgraded machines.

In all cases, the tests were done using Firefox browser. I've made a
couple of further tests using Epiphany browser which exhibited the same
problem as with Firefox. Testing with Seamonkey, I found that the lower
box which should list the server to connect to does list a server and
clicking on start does start the application, but then sticks at loading
data at the 74% mark.

I haven't noticed any problems on other Flash websites.

Clearly this isn't a critical or major bug and may not even be a flash
bug, however as Flash 10 seems to be an identifiable connection I
thought it was worth reporting.

If any further information is needed, I'll be happy to provide anything
I can.

I've attached a screenshot showing the basic screen, as you can see, the
bottom box in blue is blank, on Hardy and on windows machines, this will
have a server name to connect to.
