I have the same problem.

The package "ubufox 0.6" installs the add-on "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.6", and it disables all extra icons on the navigation toolbar. I have extra icons like: adblock plus, Feed Sidebar, ViewSourceWith, Downloadhelper, etc.
I also have the TabMixPlus add-on, but I cannot find a specific problem with that add-on.

Solution: disable the Firefox add-on "Ubuntu Firefox Modification".
Restart Firefox. Click with the right mouse button on the navigation
toolbar to set the extra icons on the bar again.
