This appears to be a question rather than a bug. Or possible multiple
bugs(no sound/no flash).

For starters what ubuntu version are you using to find this go system->about ubuntu
Next does your system have sound at all?
If you don't have flash installed firefox should tell you this and offer to installit. If that does not work you can install it manually by opening a terminal (applications->accessories->terminal) and typing this command 'sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree'

I will mark this incomplete until it becomes clear if this is actually a
bug or a question.
