I don't recall explicitly enabling hardy-proposed and it may very well
have been distributed that way from the hardy ISO.  At any rate, I
commented it out, removed xulrunner (and sun-java6-plugin xulrunner-1.9
-gnome-support via apt-get), apt-get updated, then reinstalled sun-
java6-plugin xulrunner-1.9 xulrunner-1.9-gnome-support via apt, and then
reinstalled firefox firefox-gnome-support firefox-3.0-gnome-support
firefox-3.0 ubuntu-docs gnome-user-guide ubuntu-desktop yelp, which was
successful.
