Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
First off this is a Beta version of My Yahoo that they've foisted off on
me however this problem did NOT occur before I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04
from 7.10 so I suppose that is a non-issue.
With "normal" (default?) text size if the mouse is hovered over a news
headline the display becomes scrambled and the Yahoo window size changes
(but not the outer Firefox window). This makes it impossible to read
the full headline or to right click an item to choose to open it in a
new tab. It almost seems that some headlines and headings remain at the
larger window size while others follow the child window size.
However if I increase the text size using [ctrl]+ the problem does not
manifest itself! I use this as a workaround so the problem isn't
critical.
Another very minor problem is that hovering the mouse over some
headlines changes the cursor to a + within a circle while in most
locations it remains as a normal arrow. This did happen in Ubuntu 7.10
also
