Hi There

I'm also getting this problem, it seems to be also affecting how Firefox
displays some pages (some fonts on some pages don't display, some pages
don't display at all)

>From my konsole:

ivan at apogee:~$ thunderbird

(thunderbird-bin:24005): Pango-WARNING **: failed to create cairo scaled
font, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Arial Bold 12'

Segmentation fault
ivan at apogee:~$


fractionally after this line:  *** Calendar schema ver....
the screen starts to display the outline of the Thunderbird app, but then it disappears and the rest of the errors display in the konsole window.

I am using Kubuntu 8.04; Thunderbird 2; Firefox 3 Beta 5.
