Greg,
Hint: NEVER EVER use root to install thingsd or to use firefox or your
profile gets screwed up.Closing this bug asking you both to use brand
new profiles and start over. Uing GKsudo or sudo or anyother way to get
root in firefox is very bad. and never recommended for usage.
