I'm confused.

I have *exactly* the issue described by the initial poster, it is
happening for me with Firefox 3 Beta 5 in a fresh upgrade to Hardy
Heron.

Firefox sometimes greys out and then returns to colour to continue, as
it should.   Sometimes it stays gray but works normally otherwise when
it has recovered from a freeze, which is not what it should do.

Does this need to be a new bug?  It has the same symptom as the old one.
