I ran 'apt-get update' a few times already and it doesn't help. But I'm
back on my machine (the one which behaves so weird is my mother's) and
it flashplugin-nonfree (re-)installs fine here. Very weird, all I could
think of why this might happen is that we use different mirrors. But the
package exists on the de.archive.ubuntu.com mirror.
So it seems like that brokenness is a special foobar on that box, even
though it happens to flashplugin-nonfree only. Sorry for bothering you
:)
