Jarno,
In Xubuntu it might be in a differnet place but you still have them. You
might want to look for it but compiz is installed by default and if you
use an app to change xorg.conf it will update it and enable compiz on
next start. I dont have XFCE atm but the menus are not that much
difference than gnomes just pushed into one menu not 3 upper level menus.
