OK, thanks for the report. The greying out happens when firefox
becomes unresponsive when using compiz.

If restart helped its most likely one of those nasty "firefox breaks
when not properly restarted after upgrading it" bugs.

Anyway, we have plenty of those and thus closing ...

 status invalid
