Me too.

Ubuntu 8.04 and Firefox 3.0b5 on more than one machine.

Can save bookmarks (to the the Bookmarks Toolbar) but they are not there
when Firefox is closed and re-opened.

Cannot change the home page to a blank page and have it saved and
available after a close/re-open.
