Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
This is hard to reliably reproduce but frequent enough to be a real
nuisance.
When Firefox isn't busy right-click apparently works fine.
When Firefox is working on another tab/window and the user tries to
right-click a link, it sometimes doesn't display the menu but instead
just randomly auto-selects one of the options.
I've seen this enough now to know it's not just me being daft an rolling
the mouse over the selection etc. This is a single unmoved right click
doing this.
It's usually when I'm opening multiple links to load in the background..
a reddit.com list of links for example.
Trying to reproduce this by opening multiple links in other tabs one
after another the closest I'm getting is an occasional slow-down of the
display menu, so I wonder it might be an extension of that when a page
displaying is taking more effort??
Obviously, a fraction of the time I get the result I want but the odds
as against me and I often get the bookmark or save-as instead.
