1. stop any running firefox
2. backup your $HOME/.mozilla folder in case something goes wrong
3. remove any extensions.* file in your firefox folder (rm $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/*/extensions.*)
4. start firefox-2 again and see if your issue is gone
