I confirm that the same problem exists in FF3 under Hardy Heron.

Actually I've been using FF3 quite a bit since Hardy was released, and
so far I've only noticed a couple of minor improvements and a much
larger number of problems with the new FF3. Overall reliability is quite
poor and unstable on two different machines. Except for one plugin that
I really like, I would probably switch to Opera... I've never had such
problems with Opera.
