I have installed flock browser (www.flock.com) via a tarball. It is
mozilla based, and it does exactly the same thing as FF.

One thing I must note though is that FF does not freeze in my case, I
can use it, but it does not connect to any web pages.

Googling extensively and scouring launchpad, the FF forums and the
Ubuntu forums renders absolutely no hits for a problem like mine.
Konqueror connects first-time every time.

I had similar problems with feisty, and then it spontaneously stopped.
Only after I clean installed Hardy Heron did it return.

Some days it is worse, other days it barely happens. Sometimes I cannot
connect to pages for almost an hour, while Konqueror connects without
issues. Often I need to reboot my system to fix the problem.

I am using a laptop, and I had the same problem on a feisty PC running
ff2, but with a Hardy install it does not seem to have problems so far.

Is there anything I can include (a config file, a command line
output...) to help find the problem. I did try disable ipv6 but that did
not do any good, so I disabled it.
