Could you try to disable the java plugin?
In firefox,  click on Tools => Add-ons => Plugins. Right click on "GCJ Web Browser Plugin (using IcedTea) 1.0" and select disable.
Restart firefox and try to see if it still crashes when visiting the site.

This is reproducible on my end. Will do a backstrace later.
