I have followed your steps to reproduce the bug and pressing F11 does
return you from full screen mode...  Firefox doesn't provide you with
any kind of visual toolbar to click on in full screen mode in ubuntu...

Regardless,  by moving your bug to the support team they should be able
to help you out with any questions you have...
