The wine error messages on the terminal is reported in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114025 and is reportedly fixed in 0.9.60
and later. It has also been logged with
http://wiki.winehq.org/PreloaderPageZeroProblem.  You may want to check
these if you want to follow it up.

Regarding your old firefox profile, the easiest way would be to send it
to me but we would have some privacy issues so I would NOT recommend
that. You would be better off if you try it yourself thru the process of
elimination. I'm not a developer, but you can seek help from the Mozilla
team https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs.
