I'm sorry that I didn't give you the information needed, but I don't
know what could be helpful :(

After renaming ~/.mozilla the wine desktop didn't appear, and the
Firefox window appeared just as it should do. So it did on another
(newly created) user account.

There are no files in /var/crash.

When starting firefox with my old ~/.mozilla directory on my terminal, I
get the following output:

david at PCTheEmperor:~$ firefox
preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-60000000
preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-60000000

I noticed that it is exactly the same output the terminal gives me when
starting winecfg.

Is there any way to recover my old profile or to import at least my
bookmarks into a new one?
