[Bug 226349] [NEW] Non-administrator user accounts say flash is not installed

Public bug reported:

I've installed the flashplugin-nonfree package from my main user
account...and it works great. I created another account for my wife, and
tried to visit YouTube. Firefox claims that flash is not installed...but
it is! I also had this issue in Gutsy. The workaround for Gutsy can be
found at this URL:

I have not tested a solution for Hardy yet.
