Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Firefox 3 beta 5.

Other applications (e.g., openoffice) print OK, and printer test page
prints OK, but firefox 3 beta 5 won't print. I'm using the same
printer in all cases, which is the default printer.

When I select the printer icon on firefox, I get a popup that goes
through the 'printing' and 'progress'. When the progress reaches 100%,
the progress popup closes, and that's the end of it.

I tried launching firefox from the terminal, which someone had suggested
trying, but after firefox opened, selecting the printer icon did the
same thing as above.

Using firefox File->Print has same results.
Using firefox File->Print Preview shows page to be printed.

I've looked at the log for cups, and don't see anything wrong there.

I did not have these problems prior to upgrading from Ubuntu 7.10 to
8.04, which also had an upgrade to firefox to beta 5 in it.

Thanks
