Hi,
Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 x86-32 here and same error.

I get this through dmesg:

There is no crash report on /var/crash

Printing to a PDF file seems to fail on SSL web pages.
I've tried printing a paypal SSL page and this one as well:
