[Bug 90376] Re: Firefox https broken in some cases

I get the same error when trying to enter ANY https webpage. Same
problem in safe mode. This started when I updated to Ubuntu 8.04,
unninstalled Firefox3b and installed firefox2.

May this be related with safe mode? It seems I am trapped someway in
safe mode, addons are not working anymore. Tried to manually disable
them and restart firefox, but they remain "This addon will be disabled
when Firefox is restarted". I reinstalled firefox a couple of times, but
there are no changes.
