Could you tell me if you are using any plugins or extensions on Firefox?
Also, what build of Firefox are you using?

You could also try to run Firefox via the terminal and see if you
receive any output messages from it when the error occurs.  If you do
please attach them to this bug.

This information will help diagnose the problem.
