I found this bug too. The Totem firefox plugin does not have the easy
codec installation feature that seems to be working for standalone
Totem. It is possible to get the BBC embedded videos to play if you
choose Open with "Movie Player" from the embedded totem's menu, then try
to play the video in standalone Totem, which will install the codecs for
you, you can then go back to the BBC site and reload the page and the
videos will play fine embedded.
