[Bug 206045] [NEW] xine-plugin does not appear in firefox3's "about:plugin" page

DESCRIPTION:

I'd like to watch some video stream using xine-plugin but that doesn't
work. Firefox asks to download the plugin.

I checked the following locations:

root at geof-laptop:~# ls /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/
flashplugin-alternative.so  gxineplugin.so  libflashplayer.so  libjavaplugin.so  nppdf.so  xineplugin.so

root at geof-laptop:~# ls /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
flashplugin-alternative.so  gxineplugin.so  libjavaplugin.so  nppdf.so  xineplugin.so

root at geof-laptop:~# ls /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/
flashplugin-alternative.so  gxineplugin.so  libflashplayer.so  libjavaplugin.so  nppdf.so  xineplugin.so

But the pluging does not appear in firefox 3.0b4 's "about:plugins" page
and does not load (i.e. i can't watch videos).

WHAT I EXPECTED:

I expected firefox to find xine-plugin and xine-plugin to play my video.
It's ok with konqueror+xine-plugin.
