[Bug 203372] [NEW] Loss of cursor in textarea

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xulrunner-1.9

After applying all recent updates, including the fixes for Bug 178558, I
no longer have a text cursor when entering text in a textarea, e.g., the
one I am entering this report into now.  I have a mouse cursor
(currently an I-beam), but not a text cursor showing where I am typing.
This is not a problem for text fields, just a textarea.
