[Bug 201492] [NEW] javascript on web page does not function.

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Web page is viewable using MS Windows 2000 and XP but not with uBuntu and firefox (Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.12).
If I run the Error console I get:
Warning: Element referenced by ID/NAME in the global scope. Use W3C standard document.getElementById() instead.
